This unique studio and gift shop is the vision of founder Tracy Scipioni, a former learning support teacher with a passion for education, creativity, and building meaningful connections through art.
Roots to Wings Studio operates as a nonprofit (the shop is a for-profit business) and serves the community and celebrates the joy of art in all its forms- both in the Studio and out in the community. Celebrating The Joy of Art
Officially opened in 2023, Roots to Wings Studio & Designs was born from dreams and a deep love for creativity long before its doors opened. The shop celebrates and supports local artists of all ages, from the young to the young at heart, with nearly 80 artists currently represented, ranging in age from 8 to 91.
Creative Workshops and Events
In addition to its retail offerings, Roots to Wings Studio & Designs also hosts a variety of artist-led classes, space rentals for creative workshops and events, and community-centered programming for all ages. Whether you’re there to create, learn, or connect, Roots to Wings is a space where creativity truly takes flight, and everyone is welcome.

Radicle Roots
Roots to Wings founder Tracy, along with Renee Behringer, a former art teacher and homeschool mama of four, lead Radicle Roots – the thriving homeschool art co-op that runs during the school year every Thursday.
- Grades up to 5: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
- Grades 6 and up: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM
